Baby, Baby... No, not ours :)

Last night we went to visit our friends, Kiel & Amy, who just had their first baby girl, Mia Beth, on April 14. It was fun getting to see their cute little bundle of joy. Mia is a very lucky girl to have Amy & Kiel as parents. (well at least Amy anyway... just kidding Kiel)

Kiel... the very proud papa

Me holding Mia... Didn't even cry that much!

Even Brian held Mia. Lets just say somehow Mia got plopped down in Brian's arms, as you can see by the "Deer in Headlights" expression from Brian.

Mama and Daddy getting some rest for the next crazy 20 years ahead of them!

The Best Husband!

Brian Brought Me home this beautiful boquet of colorful roses! He tried to suprise me, but it never works, cause he calls me up on the phone while he is at the store and is like, "Babe, whats your favorite color?" And then I say, "Oh, you are getting me flowers!" He tries to play it off but I always know. :) The flowers are georgeous and I think my favorite boquet ever!

They even came with small palm leaves. Easter flowers for sure. I loved them!!!

Honeymoon

Our First Post! Yeah! It's going to have to be our honeymoon! We spent it in Leavenworth, WA. It is a beautiful small village that is nestled in the Cascade Mountains. I have been there once before, but it was Brian's first time. We both enjoyed it. Possibly our favorite part was our honeymoon suite- which had a king sized canopy bed, a wonderful jetted tub, and a fireplace! Not to mention that the hotel included a raquetball which is our second best sport to play after skiing of course. Plus the hotel had a full sized breakfast bar, made to order omelets and all. (Except the first day they did not have bacon and boy did Brian almost get us kicked out! HAHA, just kidding about the kicked out part)

We did go skiing one day and enjoyed ourselves although my boots were too tight and the slopes were very icy! We also enjoyed the bavarian themed town and the wonderful food. We will definitly go back just for the food! :) Anyway we had fun and enjoyed our first trip as husband and wife.
This was our room at the victorian hotel we stayed for 2 nights in Dayton, WA before we left for Leavenworth.

We ate at the Soup Cellar the first day for lunch. I remembered this place because they had a bunch of dollar bills that covered all of their walls! However, we couldn't find it because they had moved to a different loctions, they still had dollar bills but not as many because they started over!

Brian is making a disgusting face because he thought the split pea soup I was eating was grotesque. mmmmmm good.

We forgot to bring ski goggles so had to find some at a local shop. Actually we didn't buy these, these were the nice ones. haha
